Inkwell Collective Tattoo ("Inkwell Collective", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit our website, send us an enquiry or book an appointment.
We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").
02What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number (if provided)
- Your preferred artist, placement, size and description of your tattoo idea
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older and that you agree to our Terms and this Policy
When you book or visit the studio, we may also collect your date of birth and ID details to confirm your age, health information you give us on the consent form, payment records, and photos of your tattoo.
We only collect the information we need. Please do not send us sensitive information we have not asked for.
03How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Reply to your enquiry and send you a quote and available dates
- Arrange, confirm and manage your appointments
- Confirm you meet the minimum age and that it is safe to tattoo you
- Keep records required for health, safety and accounting purposes
- Share photos of our work, following the photo terms in our Terms of Service
We will not use your details to send you marketing messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them.
04Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers that help us run the studio, including:
- Web3Forms, which delivers website enquiries to our email inbox
- Our email provider, and WhatsApp or Instagram if you choose to contact us there
- Payment providers, when you pay a deposit or balance
These providers may store data outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA. We may also disclose personal data where required by law.
05Cookies and third-party services
Our website does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies.
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google. Our footer also shows an embedded Google Map, which is provided by Google and may set its own cookies. Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
06How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months if you do not go ahead with a booking. For clients, we keep appointment and consent records for as long as needed for health, safety, legal and accounting purposes, after which they are securely deleted.
07How we protect it
We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Paper consent forms are stored securely at the studio, and only our team has access to client records.
No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your rights
Under the PDPA, you can:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used
- Ask us to correct any personal data that is wrong or incomplete
- Withdraw your consent to us using your personal data
To make a request, email us using the details below. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue providing our services to you.
09Under 18s
Our services are only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we find that we have, we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
